I am hoping someone will be able to help me with this.
i have a table of accountholders with the following fields
account_no
account_name
image_path
the image_path field has a defaultvalue images/***.jpg
I am looking for a query code to update the value in the image_path field by replacing the *** value with the value of the
account_no fieldupdate accountholders
set image_path = replace(image_path, '***', account_no)
EDIT: safer would be:
update accountholders
set image_path = replace(image_path, '***', account_no)
where image_path='images/***.jpg'

Replace value with image
Hello, I'm new to Reporting Services 2005, so I'm not sure if what I'm asking
is possible. What I need to do is replace a certain value in a report with
an image. For example, the values in a given column will either be -1, 0 or
1. What I need to do is replace that value with a specific graphic, based on
which value it is. Can anyone let me know how this could be done or if it's
even possible?
Thank you!Hi,
You can do this by adding a conditional statement to the BackGroundImage
Property's value field
You can write
IIf(Fields!YourField.Value=-1,"Image-1",IIF(Fields!YourField.Value=0,"Image0",IIF(Fields!YourField.Value=1,"Image1","")
Let me know if this worked

had to ultimately do was add an Image from the toolbox to the cell where I
wanted to display the graphics. Then in the properties for that cell, I
specified the Value as a conditional statement that displays a given graphic
based on the value of one of the columns in the query. Works as expected!
Thanks again!

Repeating text and image
Seemingly I am having a difficult time resolving a simple problem, so here
goes.
I am listing hotels in the details of a tabular report, I would like to list
the hotels and show the number of stars for each hotel as an image. I would
like to do this all in one cell, but can't seem to add text and image in one
cell. The other problem I have is that I have an image of a star and I would
like to show this image 3 times for a 3 star resort or show it 4 times for a
4 star resort. I have read alot about turning on and off visibility, but how
do you add 4 different star images to one cell and have them next to one
another?
thanks
donWhy do you need to put them in the same cell? Can you leave them in
different cells and just merge those cells?

detail section, since the hotels name and stars would be in the grouping
section and that just means I have to work around that issue. Are you saying
there is no way to put repeating text and an image in the same cell? Or even
two images in the same cell?
thanks again
