Replacement for Enterprise Manager?

Hello,
I am just wondering if there is a replacement for EM which will have certain
improvements over MS's.
I am coming from an Oracle world, and there is a major issue in SSEM which i
find seriously lacking compared OEM.
In OEM, when you expand a schema (roughly equivalent to a database in SS)
there are a lot more treenodes. There are the basic ones like SSEM has...
Tables, Views, SProcs, Funcs etc...
However OEM also has seperate nodes for Indexes and Triggers, so you can see
and manage all the triggers and indexes in one place. It allows to do all
the relevant management stuff right there. Enable/Disable triggers, Rebuild
indexes, and such. This is a Major improvement, to be able to work directly
on these objects rather then going to a table, designing it, then getting
into the triggers window, selecting the one you want, and then being able to
manage it.
Is there a SSEM alternative which give you more direct and finely-grained
control over individual objects in a similar fashion?
Thanks in advance,
- Hitchhiker

You might want to download a trial version of Database Workbench:

|||If you're an Oracle person, you probably know TOAD pretty well. There's a
freeware version for SQL Server at www.toadss.com. You can also download a
freeware copy of Quest Central for SQL Server at
www.quest.com/quest_central/sql_server/freeware.

Enterprise Manager...
SQLExecMS is really fast, but it is $100+ for an individual license.

|||Hmmm... It was slower to load the SEM in our testing, but it's operations
were the same or faster. I'll have to talk to our testers to see if we can
reproduce the problem. Thanks for the input.
