Repeated message in SQL Server Logs

I'm getting the following messages repeatedly (several times a minute) in
the sql server logs:
Starting up database 'Northwind'.
Analysis of database 'Northwind' (6) is 100% complete (approximately 0 more
seconds)
I don't see this behaviour in any of our other servers. What would cause
this?
